This notice explains how we handle personal data when you use aviationschool.ge, send us an enquiry, or sign up for course information and our newsletter. Last updated: 1 November 2026.
Who we are
The controller is Safety Academia Training Center LLC (registered as შპს „უსაფრთხოების აკადემიის ტრეინინგ ცენტრი“, ID code 405530563), Ana Politkovskaya St. 14, Tbilisi 0186, Georgia, acting through its International Aviation Training Center. Contact: info@aviationschool.ge.
What we collect
- Signup (website popup): your email, your name if you give it, language, the training area you picked (if any), the page you signed up on, and the consent text, version and time.
- Where your first visit came from: if you reached us through a campaign or link, the UTM tags (such as utm_source and utm_campaign), the referring site and the first page you landed on.
- Enquiry form: name, email, company, course, training format and your message.
- Security: your IP address is stored only as a one-way hash, to stop spam and abuse.
Why we use it and our legal basis
We use your signup details to send you course information and our newsletter, and to understand which channels bring interested people to us. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box (it is never pre-ticked). You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before. We use enquiry form details to answer your enquiry.
Who we share it with
- Hosting: the website and its database are hosted by Hostinger, which processes the data on our behalf.
- Email notification: a copy of each signup and enquiry is emailed to our own mailbox (info@aviationschool.ge), which is also hosted by Hostinger.
- We do not sell your data or share it with other companies for their marketing.
Analytics and cookies
We use only our own first-party cookies and browser storage: atcsa_signed (set only after you sign up with your email, so the welcome popup stops opening automatically; 12 months), atcsa_ft (where your first visit came from, 90 days) and atcsa_area (the training area you picked). If we switch on visitor statistics, we use either a cookieless service (Plausible or Umami) that records only aggregated statistics and is not used to identify you, or Google Analytics 4, which loads only after you accept it in the cookie banner. When Google Analytics is in use, a “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page lets you change your choice.
How long we keep it
We keep signup details until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, and delete them within 30 days after that. If we have had no contact with you for 24 months, we delete your details or ask you to confirm your consent again. We keep enquiry form details for 24 months after our last contact, unless a contract with you requires longer.
Your rights
Under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection you can ask what data we hold about you and get a copy, have it corrected, updated or deleted, have processing stopped or blocked, receive your data in a portable form, object to direct marketing, and withdraw your consent. Write to info@aviationschool.ge. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia (personaldata.ge).
Unsubscribe
You can unsubscribe at any time with the “Unsubscribe” link in any of our emails, or by writing to info@aviationschool.ge with the subject “Unsubscribe”.
Changes
When we update this notice we change the date on this page. If a change materially affects your data, we will also tell you.
